#3776 GATHERED
#3776 PRECIOUS METALS
Our Hammered Sterling model is available in two versions. The Hammered Antique Sterling Silver is created using the Tankin Kinfurubi technique, which involves hand finishing the cap and barrel using a stone hammering process. This is followed by carefully etching to create a two toned antique finish that is then set off with a rich gold plate trim. The Hammered Sterling Silver model is created with the Tankin technique as well, and then finished with a light polish, leaving a gleaming textured finish. As with the Hammered Antique Sterling Silver, the trim is a rich gold plate. Both models feature nibs crafted from solid platinum. These models offer unique elegance and unmatched refinement with their subtle designs, pleasing both the eye and the hand.
The Pinstripe Sterling Silver offers an amazing blend of luxury and affordability. Created with solid sterling silver finished in a restrained pinstripe pattern on the cap and barrel, the Pinstripe Sterling Silver is both beautiful and practical.
The Precious Metal Collection writing instruments are available as cartridge converter fountain pens.
#3776 EBONITE
#3776 CELLULOID
Our Celluloid Collection consists of the popular 3776 model, rendered in four vibrant shades of rich cured celluloid: Koi, Stone, Tortoise, Jade and new Cherry Blossom.
Celluloid is a traditional material for pen making, one that offers unparalleled depth, feel, and color. Celluloid is a very difficult material to use, requiring an exacting process to create, followed by an extended curing process to ensure the stability of the material. Our rich celluloid is prepared to our specifications and carefully cured to ensure a perfect material for our pens.
Our Koi, a beautiful blend of vibrant pinks, reds, and glowing cream white, reflects the traditional Japanese art of raising Koi fish. Stone is a mixture of rich black and shimmering pearl highlights. Tortoise offers a classic look for a fine writing instrument. Deep burnished browns and tans swirl across both cap and barrel in a manner reminiscent of natural tortoise shell. Rich, vibrant greens set Jade apart from other writing instruments.
The Celluloid Collection writing instruments are available as cartridge converter fountain pens fitted with a 14K gold nib, or as ballpens.
#3776 EXOTIC WOOD
Our Exotic Woods Collection consists of three versions of the popular 3776 model, crafted in three types of perfectly finished natural wood.
Wood is a unique material for a writing instrument, offering the natural beauty of grain and a rich, warm feel in the hand. Our Exotic Woods Collection offers a choice between three styles of hand finished wood: Japanese Yakusugi Cedar, Lacquered Light Briar, andLacquered Dark Briar.
Yaku Japan Cedar is a Special Edition of our Exotic Woods Collection. Each pen is carefully crafted from natural cedar wood from trees grown on Yakushima Island, regarded as a National Treasure of Japan. Some are several thousand years old. Their wood is especially prized for its color, beautiful grain, and light weight. The Yaku Japan Cedar is a wonderful expression of the woodworker’s art, with rich grain perfectly complimented by a glowing light of brown color. Each piece is carefully shaped from hand selected pieces of this precious material and finished to exacting standards.
The Platinum Lacquered Briar pens are offered in two versions: Light Briar and Dark Briar. Briar wood has long been prized by woodworkers for its rich color and intricate grain, and the carefully selected wood used for our pens is no exception. Each piece is chosen for the depth and pattern of the grain before being painstakingly turned to final dimensions and finished with a deep lacquer coating to ensure durability and beauty.
Each of the models in the Exotic Woods Collection is set off with polished gold plate trim that accents the rich color and grain of the woods used.
